The Panoramabahn in Hollersbach takes you to the heart of the winter sports region with direct access to the 170 kilometers of slopes in the Kitzbühel Alps. Perfectly groomed slopes and fantastic views inspire beginners and families as well as budding professionals and alpine connoisseurs. Various ski schools, sports stores and ski rentals have everything your vacation heart desires. In addition, many other winter sports areas in the region can be reached in no time, including the family-friendly Wildkogel Arena in Neukirchen and Bramberg, as well as the interconnected winter sports areas of Zell am See-Kaprun and Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. Three routes lead directly through and around Mittersill. A special highlight is the Hochmoor cross-country ski trail, which leads across the sunny plateau at 1,200 m above sea level. Winter hikers enjoy magical moments in deep snow-covered nature. Best cleared paths lead through the quiet landscape. Armed with snowshoes and supervised by national park rangers, you’ll even head to remote spots. Ice skating and horse-drawn sleigh rides give the world pause. The national park region reveals its romantic side here. Would you prefer it to be a bit more racy? In Hollersbach and in Neukirchen, two top-class toboggan runs await adventurers young and old.
